Salisbury Cemetery, North Carolina.
This Cemetery is situated about a half mile from the town of Salisbury, Rowan county, N. C., on the North Carolina Railroad. It contains the remains of Union Soldiers who died from starvation, disease and inhuman treatment while confined in the Salisbury Prison Pen, and in the Hospitals near the stockade, as Prisoners of War.

Wilmington Cemetery, North Carolina.
This Cemetery is situated one mile east of the city of Wilmington, N. C. It contains the remains of those Union Soldiers who were originally buried at Fort Fisher, Smithville, Fayetteville, Cape Fear River, and at points along the Wilmington and Manchester and the Wilmington and Weldon Railroads, as well as those removed from the city cemeteries at Wilmington.
